Angela Peart is an experienced business leader with over 25 years’ expertise in operations, leadership, and organisational development.
Passionate about empowering women and supporting purpose-led organisations, she brings strategic insight, strong governance, and a people-focused approach to The Angels Foundation UK.

Angela founded the Women’s Utilities Network, supporting thousands of women across the UK, and has spent much of her career building successful, people-focused organisations. She is committed to creating strong, supportive environments where both individuals and charities can thrive

James Lewis is Community Investment Manager (East) for Places For People Housing Association and has worked in the charity and statutory sectors for two decades, including social services, probation, housing and education.
James brings insight, knowledge and expertise to The Angels Foundation UK and has been instrumental in its development and growth.

Lisa Watson brings a wealth of experience as a Designated Safeguarding & MASH Lead at Change Grow Live Cambridgeshire and is our designated safeguarding lead at the Angels Foundation UK

Emma Millar is a Legal Director with the Charities and Social Enterprise team at Michelmores LLP. She brings over a decade of legal experience to our board.
She has advised a wide range of non-profits on governance, legal compliance, and sustainable growth, and is passionate about helping mission-driven organisations thrive.

Julia has many years of experience as a CEO of both a fundraising charity and a major grant-making organisation. She has also served as a trustee and chair on multiple boards.
Julia now supports small and medium-sized charities with a wide range of needs, including governance, strategic planning, fundraising, and impact measurement, helping them grow sustainably and effectively.

Shirley Marais is an Integrative Counsellor and Registered Member of the NCPS and BACP, bringing a wealth of experience to The Angels Foundation UK.
As founder of the Aloe Counselling Training Centre, she is passionate about raising professional standards and mentoring future therapists.

Annmarie is a qualified Occupational Psychologist and Integrative Counsellor and is the Angels Foundation Counselling Agency and Placement Manager.
She supports clients and oversees counselling placements.

Anna is a Qualified BACP Therapist and Trauma Specialist supporting individuals during periods of acute emotional distress.
Anna is also a facilitator for the Angels Foundation UK Skylark Domestic Abuse Recovery Programme.
She has undertaken extensive training in trauma (adults and children), domestic abuse, safeguarding, autism, and child loss.

Possessing an MSc in Occupational Psychology with Distinction and qualified as a coach, Karen specialises in supporting clients who have experienced domestic abuse.

Alongside her work with The Angels Foundation UK, Karen is also a facilitator for the Skylark Domestic Abuse Recovery Programme and volunteers supporting members of the Armed Forces community and their families. Karen also has vast experience within the HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS).
