Crisis Support

When survivors move into a new home after fleeing abuse, they are often met with empty spaces, no flooring, furniture, or appliances. Our Back to Life Support provides essential items such as beds, sofas, white goods, and flooring*, helping families create a comfortable and secure living space. Without these basic necessities, many survivors are at risk of returning to their perpetrators due to financial insecurity. By ensuring they have a furnished home, we give them the foundation to start again with confidence. (*Subject to availability).

We only accept professional online referrals for our Back to Life Support which can be made here.  

If you are individual requiring help with items for your home, please contact a professional such as a social worker, Police Officer, GP, or Domestic Abuse Support worker so they can make the referral on your behalf or go to our Contact Us page

We provide some of the items listed as 'essential' for a family to survive according to End Furniture Poverty These items are:

• Beds (Brand New)
• Chest of Drawers (Second Hand/Donated)
• Bedside Table (Second Hand/Donated)
• One white good (Second Hand or Brand New)
• A Sofa  (Second Hand/Donated)
• A small table and chairs  (Second Hand/Donated)

When we have funding for flooring we also provide carpets for clients in their homes.

Navigating life after abuse can be complex, and many survivors are unsure where to turn for additional help. Our Signposting & Advocacy Service connects survivors with vital resources, such as the local authorities, domestic abuse professionals, other charities offering support and community organisations to ensure every survivor gets the help they need.

Leaving an abusive situation can be isolating, and many survivors struggle with confidence and social connections. Our Angels Walk & Talks provide a safe, supportive space for women to meet others who have shared similar experiences. These monthly walks encourage conversation, emotional support, and a sense of belonging, helping survivors regain self-esteem and build new friendships in a relaxed, judgment-free environment.
