Families are most vulnerable when starting over. If they don’t have basic necessities, a fridge, flooring, or even lightbulbs, this added hardship can feel overwhelming. 98% of accommodation offered to survivors comes without these essentials. Without support, many face the devastating risk of returning to their perpetrator simply to meet their basic needs. We encourage our local communities in Cambridgeshire to spread the word about donating furniture and white goods to our ‘Back to Life Support Project’. These items mean those who flee have the basics they need to set up a home so they are not sleeping on floors with no way to cook a meal. Donate your items by clicking here
