Our 'Why'
Hello! I’m Jayne, Angel Ambassador at the The Angels Foundation UK and Founding Partner of Boxes of Hope.
Our aim is to bring a little sunshine, positivity and hope to women and their children who are either in a women‘s refuge, or who have fled domestic abuse.
They often arrive with nothing, literally just the clothes they are wearing … The wonderful teams at the local refuges, and The Angels Foundation UK, help them to find their way, make a recovery, to rebuild their life and empower them to move on.
But the Boxes of Hope will be given throughout the year to as many families as we can, so any surplus always gets used.
With your help, we’d like to continue creating pretty boxes filled with lovely toiletries, cosmetics, little trinkets and treats - things that make someone feel special - to bring a smile and to let them know some one cares about them.
Encouraging self-love is vital to help survivors of Domestic Abuse recover and rebuild their lives.
We would welcome any donations of new, unused beauty products and toiletries, small unwanted gifts, treats or donations towards products … all would be so incredibly helpful, and gratefully received.
Help us give these brave ladies a new beginning with our Boxes of Hope.
